Little Homesteaders don’t just learn about homesteading life, they experience it firsthand. Our Hands-On Animal Experience allows kids to take part in daily routines, giving them a deeper understanding of life.

Through guided interaction and instruction, children learn about animal behavior, safety, and proper care. Activities may include collecting eggs and light, supervised hand feeding, helping children build confidence while interacting with animals in a safe and meaningful way.

As they care for animals, children naturally develop responsibility, discipline, and respect for living things. These real-life experiences build meaningful skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
